[IRCA] TP 23 Oct Victoria version
A few briefly good signals, no surprises, fairlyl useless as a DX
morning. Not even any singing lessons on HLCA or general chortling on JOAK.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1566 came close, but the erratic fading killed it as a powerhouse
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
594 JOAK woman in Japanese 1444UT
828 JOBB piano interlude, pips, into Korean lessons 1300UT
1242 JOLF woman in Japanese, briefly this strong 1416UT
1566 HLAZ orchestral music, ID based on Chinese talk heard various
times, but peaked on music at 1428UT, about as good as the Japanese
program managed at 1338UT with jazzy female vocal into sign-off
sequence at 1342UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
774 JOUB Japanese talk by woman 1444UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
738 fast paced jazzy guitar 1351UT
747 JOIB pips 1300UT, and not much else
972 HLCA? man talking, could be Korean? 1446UT
1053 Korean jammer 1304UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
873 891 1593
best wishes,
Nick
