[IRCA] TP 22 Oct Victoria version
Well, I did my best with the recordings, but just a much
inferior morning to yesterday. Even the big guns were decidedly on
the tiny side for the most part. I suspect a couple of DUs were
sneaking in as well.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
972 HLCA woman on phone in Korean, man in studio could hardly get a
word in edgewise 1423UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
594 JOAK man in Japanese 1417UT
774 JOUB English lessons 1413UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
828 JOBB English lessons 1404UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
567 JOIK man in Japanese 1419UT, //594
576 woman and man, DU English? 1417UT
702 man talking, maybe DU English? 1406UT; not //774
747 man talking, Japanese inflection? 1332UT
1134 woman talking, maybe Japanes? 1401UT
1287 man in Japanese? 1420UT
1386 NHK2 woman talking //774, tough DX, both of them 1425-29UT
1566 man and woman talking, maybe Japanese? 1259UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
891 909 1035 1098 1242 1323 1386 1422 1503 1512 1593
best wishes,
Nick
