[IRCA] TP 16 Oct Victoria version
A very tame ride indeed this morning; gosh, what
happened? Everything must have stopped in Haida Gwaii.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
594 JOAK man in Japanese 1406UT
774 JOUB English lessons 1403UT
828 JOBB reached this level several times between 1355 and 1400UT w/
Chinese lessons
1566 HLAZ man in Chinese 1412UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
the above, passing through
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
693 JOAB, strongest NHK station just now pips etc on the hour 1400UT
1053 Korean jammer 1355UT
1593 CNR1 woman talking 1412UT //6125. Very few parallels available
on shortwave this morning
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
954 woman and man talking, perhaps Japanese 1355UT
972 HLCA? man talking, Korean inflection ? 1351UT
1134 JOQK? woman in what sounded like Japanese 1405-06UT
1179 man talking, then woman 1410-12UT, Japanese inflection
1323 woman talking 1405UT, maybe Russian my inflection?
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
846 864 891 1332 1386 1404 1512 1575
best wishes,
Nick
