[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 10-11

Like Nick has reported the band featured both Asians and trans-equatorial propagation this morning, with 738-Tahiti again unusually strong here throughout the session. The Asian big guns on 594, 693, 747, 774, 828 and (especially) 1566 were back up to their typical strength during the predawn darkness at 1250, although the NHK stations seemed to take a swoon from 1300-1330. With the exception of 738's strong signal sunrise enhancement was fairly routine, with only an unusually goodÂsignal on 1017 (presumed CRI) late on around 1400.ÂÂ

At my 1250 start time 738-Tahiti was already managing a steady fair signal, and was in an out with good peaks throughout the session. In contrast to yesterday most of the Japanese and Korean big guns were back up to strength, although very few second tier Asians were managing audio (1017, 1044 and 1503, all weak). Asians seem to take a general swoon here from 1300-1330, with most of them recovering their original strengthÂlate in sunrise enhancement. 1017 was one of the few unusual performers around 1355, and although Nick reported Tonga as being on late, the null bearing and Korean-type speech seemed to indicate CRI. The NHK big guns on 594, 693 and 747 led the way with S7 signals after 1400, and 603-HLSA and 657-Pyongyang came out of the noise about this time to reach fair levels. Other than more unusually good signals from 738-Tahiti the session was fairly routine, as the Asians made a modest recovery from their total shutout yesterday.
