[IRCA] 10-9 Sneak previews of possible TP/DU deluge Victoria B.C.

Listened from 1250 until 1258 UTC - prior to dashing up to the University
to get an early pre-class project done.

Lots of activity on Nicks fish barrel but only hints of audio on
one band scan at -

531 Khz - Actual good carrier with hints of very subdued audio

567 Khz - Ditto

584 Khz - Sub-ditto

594 Khz - Sub-ditto

612 Khz - one of the best lower band signals - hinting at maybe breaking
into dance at some point in the next hour...
When I left for work at 1350 UTC there was a big het on my car radio (2013
Honda Civic) on 612, 828 and 891 if that gives some perspective.

774 Khz - barely there audio with insufficient audio retrieval to extract
any intelligence

828 Khz - also audio on the car radio for the 1st km of my commute from
1350 to 1351

891 Khz - very promising big het but (I) did not stick around long enough
to barter with it.

1008 Khz - Ditto

Borderline audio on 1566 and that was it in a nut shell.

Very little evidence of much mid-band... low band may have amounted to
something eventually - who knows. Upper band was a ghost town.

Drake R8 - W/NW Flag at 280 degrees - with VACTROL DIY Termination
controller

AOR-7030+ - Wellbrook ALA100 -

MIsek.Lankford Ratzlaff built Phaser

Just remember: In the World of DX excitement... there is always tomorrow.
