No wild ride this morning. I've been in Ontario for the last 2 weeks, so
missed a lot of the exciting mornings. I monitored this morning from
13:50 and noted many of the first tier stations audible, but nothing super
strong. The winner at my QTH was 747 from Japan, followed by 774 JOUB, 828
JOBB and 1566 HLAZ. Can't say that I heard much from any 2nd tier
stations. I followed the action on Nick's DX Fishbarrel, and despite his
location being just a few km away, my results were not on par with his. My
West facing Conti corner fed loop was the best antenna, although at times
my North Conti performed almost as well. The SW/NE ALA 100 was nowhere
near the performer.
Great to be back at the dials!
