TP conditions today were a bit improved over yesterday, with more
stations producing audio. Peak signal strength was better, too. On the
other hand, most signals were rather erratic, reaching nice strength at
times and then quickly dropping into the mud. Most of the action was
around 1315-1340.
GOOD
693 JOAB 1315, woman in Japanese, possible mention of "Nippon Hoso
Kyokai" or something phonetically similar
747 JOIB, 1332, Chinese lesson poking through the electrical noise
774 JOUB, Japanese man & woman 1327, briefly good, otherwise fair-nil
972 HLCA, Korean woman with music in background 1327
1566 HLAZ, 1339 animated woman closing out the day's Japanese
program, including a couple of FEBC IDs. Briefly good, otherwise
fair-nil today with widely varying strength.
FAIR
594 JOAK, Japanese woman 1327
828 JOBB, Japanese talk 1317
891 JOHK, Japanese woman 1337 //much weaker 594
1053 jammer 1327
1242 Pop ballad briefly rising up 1229, probably Japan
POOR
954 Occasional syllables in the KJR splatter 1332, probably JOKR
1134 weak woman in CKWX splash 1340, inflections sounded Japanese
