[IRCA] TP 15 Sep Victoria version
The party (laid back as it was) was over by 1310UT at this
location. Given that was when I got out of bed, it meant that live
DXing was soon superseded by the vastly more interesting activity of
breakfast. And no, using the north Flag didn't help with the DX, or
with the breakfast for that matter.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1566 HLAZ. Japanese program start at 1230UT was fair enough to hear
"HLAZeto" ID, but peaked at this level with woman in Japanese at
1241UT. The rest of the band was comatose.
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
774 JOUB English lessons 1215UT briefly at this level
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
the above passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
594 man talking, Japanese inflection 1310UT
612 mumbling at best 1342UT
738 pop music 1231UT likely Tahiti; heard better the evenings before and after
747 English lessons? 1310UT
1053 Korean jammer 1237UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
675 702 891 1116 1224 1287 1503 1548
best wishes,
Nick
