[IRCA] TP 13 Sep Victoria version

A few more Asians today, didn't really show until after 1300UT, otherwise still DU, so quite a mixed bag. (and the Hawaiian on 940 did thunder in rather)

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

1566 HLAZ man in Japanese, talking over slow piano music 1318UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

594 JOAK men and women talking in Japanese, general hilarity 1323UT, then into female Japanese pop .
774 JOUB man in Japanese 1318UT
1575 VoA. Nice VoA ID at 1330UT, woman in Khmer (presumed per schedule), VoA jingle 1333UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

612 4QR man in DU English //702 1320UT
747 JOIB man in Japanese 1316UT
828 JOBB man in Japanese 1258UT, pips on hour

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

531 6 pips at 1200UT point to 4KZ
576 woman talking maybe DU English 1203UT
675 RNZ National man talking slowly //756 1323UT
702 2BL man talking //612 and leading by about 1/2 second, 1320UT; also a station with vocal music
774 3LO man talking //612 and lagging slightly 1344UT
837 RNZ National, woman singing //756 1219UT
1053 jammer 1259UT, never near the strength that Colin indicated.
1116 woman talking 1218UT
1143 slow female singing 1331UT, might have had some hints of parallel on 738. Couldn't get the archive to play, but assuming Taiwan Fisheries
1287 man talking 1328UT, Japanese inflection?

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

 585 603 891 909 954 1098 1242 1314 1323 1503 1548 1593

best wishes,

Nick
