[IRCA] TP 7 Sep Victoria version

My westerly Flag delivered some of what Colin heard, but quite a lot of DU action as well; quite different from the last couple of days that had a more Asian flavor

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

774 JOUB 1317UT English lessons

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

774 3LO man talking DU English 1306UT, trading places with JOUB which was even stronger at times. ID'd earlier with ABC fanfare at 1300UT
1566 HLAZ woman in Japanese 1235UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

531 unID man talking 1259UT, not pips on hour
576 2RN guitar solo //621 1316UT, then country music until after 1340UT, leading 621 slightly
594 JOAK man in Japanese 1243UT
603 HLSA? ballad 1241UT, almost island flavor; Korean man at 1315UT
621 3RN woman and man talking DU English 1302UT, in and out for over half an hour
747 JOIB, Japanese talk by man 1325UT //774
828 JOBB soft music, woman in Japanese 1159UT, pips on hour
972 HLCA two men in Korean 1254UT
1053 Korean jammer 1234UT
1287 JOHR woman and man in Japanese 1245UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

612 4QR man talking, DU English//774 1306UT
675 RNZ National man talking then music //819 1149
738 Tahiti? pop music 1147UT
756 rhythmic pop music, man talking DU English? 1222UT
819 man singing 1234UT
837 woman talking 1231UT; although conditions pointed to New Zealand, sounded more like Japanese inflection to me
846 2RN slow vocal music //621 1321UT
1035 man talking, DU English? 1218UT
1107 woman talking just after 1300UT; quick fade up.

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

702 792 855 864 882 891 909 1008 1026 1044 1098 1116 1179 1215 1278 1323 1386 1503 1593

best wishes,

Nick
