It was actually a day earlier, on Friday, August 14 (Thursday night into Friday morning), from 1 to 4 EDT.

Bruce Conti, on the "DXing - sponsored by the National Radio Club" Facebook page, from his New Hampshire location, reported reception of Cuba's Radio Progreso on 880 and 660 (WFAN was off, too), as well as CKLQ Brandon, Manitoba, on 880.

I listened to the SDR capture from 0455-0805 UTC (12:55 AM to 4:05 AM)

Saturday, August 15, 2015.

We were hoodwinked.

If you have SDR capture,
don't waste time listening as WCBS never left 
the
air.
