Congratulations, sounds like a great opportunity. Best of luck, let us know how the DX is, and if the station streams, how we can listen.ÂEarl Higgins

Well, I ended up in Beaumont Texas. A friend bought a dark AM that we're going to revive with live, local programming and full service small town values adapted to a big city. Local DJs, high school sports, tradio, lost dog reports, etc.
I have a Tecsun PL880 and Sangean ATS909X with an H800 Skymatch Active Antenna and 60 foot longwire. I will be taking these to a friends cabin in the outer boonies of Beaumont Saturday night and seeing what I can do on AM and SW.

And from a DXing standpoint, this will be interesting. Why? I'll be moving to an entirely different part of the country that will better ground conductivity and what I pick up on AM and Shortwave will drastically change too.
Can't wait :)Â
And no, i'm not allowed to say yet where I'm going.
