Let me be the first to guess, based on your clues.
Obviously, somewhere in the upper Plains states. Given what you said about good conductivity and very different AM and shortwave DX, I'm going to guess a small town in North Dakota.
Anybody else care to guess?ÂEarl Higgins

I'm moving soon for a new job.
And from a DXing standpoint, this will be interesting. Why? I'll be moving to an entirely different part of the country that will better ground conductivity and what I pick up on AM and Shortwave will drastically change too.
Can't wait :)Â
And no, i'm not allowed to say yet where I'm going.
