[IRCA] TP 27 Apr Victoria version

Another nice little Asiatic morning, especially for this late in the season.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

747 JOIB English lessons briefly topped out at 1222UT, but pretty readable a number of other times 774 JOUB English lessons 1208UT, discourse on colors, peaking stronger than 770 at times (!)

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

1566 HLAZ "What a friend I have in Jesus" on the piano 1230UT, fading down to woman in Japanese

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

all the above, passing through

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

567 JOIK woman and man mumbling vigorously, //891, extreme minimalist DXing at its finest
675 man mumbling 1135UT
738 rhythmic pop mx 1051UT
891 JOHK vigorous talk, but very weak //594 1224UT
1053 Korean jammer 1201UT
1287 man talking, Japanese inflection? 1219UT
1323 man mumbling after music, 1221UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

594 972 1017 1089 1098

best wishes,

Nick
