Re: [IRCA] [NRC-AM] Chaos on 1180 KHz

Ah, that explains it. Makes for fairly effective jamming, I would imagine.

Any idea of the locations of the jammers?

It`s some of the dozens of Radio Rebelde jammers in Cuba against Radio Marti. Everyone is hearing this. 73, Glenn

Hearing something strange tonight on
  1180 KHz. I'm hearing Spanish
language program that sounds slightly delayed, or out of
  phase. This
could be the result of two stations broadcasting the same
  satellite
programming, with a slight difference in timing. Or it could
  be a single
station with some sort of out-of-phase audio chain.
Either way, it's impossible to miss when scanning across the
  band from
  here.
Anyone else hearing this? --
