[IRCA] TP 14 Mar Victoria version

Welll, it was a little quieter between about 1300 and 1350 UT, how about that as a more pessimistic take on things? The most interesting signals for me were at pre-sunrise enhancement after 1350UT, but it looks like the big guns were sounding off much of the night.

I'm sure there was a lot that was missed, as signals were erratic as well as sometimes quite strong. Not much post sunrise today, signals were mostly finished by 1440UT

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

594 JOAK man in JJ 1411UT
747 JOIB man in JJ //774, briefly this good 1234UT
774 and 828 many times
972 HLCA man in KK, interview 1234UT, stronger than 970
1287 JOHR man in JJ except for several shouted mentions of"Hokkaido people" , laughter, fading up to this madness 1416UT, something interesting there?
1566 HLAZ man in CC 1349UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

567JOIK man in JJ //594 1239UT
873 JOGB PP lessons 1248 //774
891 JOHK man in JJ //594 1409UT
945 CNR1, IDd 1356UT man in CC //6125, but had peaked at this level 1354UT
963 CRI man talking 1252UT; noted several times //1323
1053 KK jammer 1357UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

666 JOBK pips, man in JJ //594 1400UT
693 JOAB man in JJ //774 at 1352UT
837 woman in CC 1353UT
981 CNR1 man and woman in CC //6125 1350UT
1098 CNR1 man talking //981 1347UT
1206 Yanbian, man in KK, stringed mx 1235UT followed by female vocal
1575 VoA "this program has come to you from the Voice of America" by man 1329UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

558 deep voiced man, light pop, 1243UT
576 jazz instrumental 1310UT Russia? Australia?
612 slow vocal mx 1416UT
702 woman talking, not //774 , hum, 1240UT
702 NHK2 EE lessons //774 at 1316UT
711 HLKA? man talking, KK inflection 1237UT
738 pop mx 1401UT
864 female vocal mx 1409UT; this one not up to its carrier strength
918 man talking, CC inflection 1357UT
954 femal vocal mx 1409UT
1017 CRI. man and woman //5965 1350UT
1089 NHK2 woman in JJ //828 1408UT
1116 man talking, DU EE? 1255UT
1143 man in CC 1420UT
1179 woman talking, JJ inflection 1414UT
1314 man and woman talking, JJ inflection 1407UT
1323 CRI, mx man talking //963 1407UT
1512 man talking, maybe preaching, 1416UT, not //774. Philippines?

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

585 621 639 729 756 846 855 1008 1026 1035 1044 1188 1215 1251 1269 1278 1332 1503 1593

best wishes,

Nick
