[IRCA] TP 12 Mar Victoria version
An exhausting session, both live and going over the recording. Huge
numbers of carriers, some Chinese audio, probably a bunch of audio I
missed, paint-peeling from NHK and HLCA etc. Quite nuts, especially
as it all faded away quite rapidly compared with other mornings.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
567 JOIK traditional male JJ vocal 1250UT //1503; a concert? end of
piece was followed by man talking with a 'live' sound
747 JOIB EE lessons 1244UT
774 JOUB...lots of times; held out well for s/off at 1440UT too.
828 JOBB EE lessons 1244UT
972 HLCA male KK vocal mx 1334UT
1566 HLAZ woman in JJ 1238UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
558 HLQH laid back vocal mx 1335UT, no 603// just then, but heard later
603 HLSA man in KK //558 1408UT
594 JOAK man w/ "NHK Tokyo" mention 1229UT; it was stronger than this
at other times, but I didn't note them.
981 CNR1 woman and man w/nx in CC 1402UT, dead across hour of course
1053 KK jammer 1231UT
1206 Yanbian, woman in KK 1359UT, continued across hour, no ID as usual
1287 JOHR man and woman JJ 1235UT
1593 CNR1 man in CC 1340UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
693 JOAB EE lessons //774 1231UT
738 Tahiti likely, popm mx 1329UT, considerably bette on west Flag
837 JOQK JJ vocal 1252UT //567 1503
1503 JOUK JJ vocal 1252UT //567
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
666 JOBK man and woman JJ //567 1331UT
711 HLKA? woman in KK? 1408UT
819 portentous choral mx 1309UT lots of splash, likely N. Korea?
864 woman in JJ? 1352UT, not //1287
873 JOGB EE lessons 1253UT
891 JOHK man and woman in JJ? //837 1357UT
909 JOCB NHK pips on hour, traces of intro mx for KK lessons 1400UT
954 pop ms 1249UT
963 CRI various times after 1345UT, long stringed mx session leading
to hour w/chimes, seemed //1323
1017 CRI female vocal 1343UT, seemed //5965
1134 female vocal pop mx 1330UT
1242 man in JJ? 1403UT
1323 CRI various times seemed to be //963 in snippets around hour,
traces of chimes at 1400UT
1422 JORF? woman talking, JJ inflection 1355UT
1575 VoA? woman and man SE Asian language inflection 1443UT, north Flag
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
621 756 846 855 882 918 936 945 999 1008 1035 1044 1089 1098 1143
1161 1179 1215 1251 1269 1359 1512 1539
best wishes,
Nick
