I'm willing to bet that the shorter tower affected skywave as well although
the same conditions and clutter from today will never be duplicated with
conditions and openness from the late 70's to early 80's.They used to be a
powerhouse going into eastern Iowa. Here in Minnesota I have 630 contend
with, so I've only heard KFI a handful of times and only once with their
new tower in place.
