[IRCA] TP 29 Jan Victoria version
Grubbing in the dirt for minimal DX today; the boost at sunrise
wasn't too exciting, and as Bruce said, it fell off pretty quickly
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1566 HLAZ choral mx, best on the N. Flag 1534UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
the above passing through
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
1314 JOUF blast of recognizable JJ by man 1529UT, very erratic
fading; mostly in the murk
1593 CNR1 down in the mire 1430UT, but faded up to woman in CC, CNR
nx sounder between items, then gone again, back fighting with splash
around 1530UT as well.
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
594 JOAK JJ inflected talk various times after 1440UT, pips at
1500UT, noted later //1503
1503 JOUK man talking 1532UT //similarly weak 594
1575 VoA? woman talking 1537UT, could be SE Asian, but??
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
891 1242 1386 1422
best wishes,
Nick
