[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 1-28
Hello All,
Â
Strange Asian conditions prevailed here this morning, with 1593 kHz featuring an unusual snarl between NHK2 and CNR1 around 1515. The low band also saw some improvement over yesterday, though, with several big guns reaching fairÂto good peaks after 1500.
Â
At my 1430 start time the band sounded veryÂsimilar to yesterday's, with 594, 603 (HLSA) and 693Âat anemic levels, along with 1566, 1575ÂandÂ1593 at similar strength on the high band. Just after 1500 the low band got a boost, bringing 594-JOAK up to a brief good level, and 603-HLSA up to fair peaks in and out. These soon fizzled, but around 1515 an usualÂmix ofÂNHK2 (dominant)Âand CNR1developed on 1593 kHz, which was the first time that 1593-NHK2 has ever managed decent signals here in Puyallup.ÂAfter a mix of about 5 minutes NHK2 fizzled out around 1520, leaving CNR1 at a weak level until it also bailed around 1530. 1566-HLAZ and 1575-VOA both had their fair peaks around the same time as the 1593 mix, but neither sounded very vibrant. Such was the story of a rather bizarre session.
