[IRCA] TP 18 Jan Victoria version

A touch of DX this morning, 1278 the most intriguing; others were "regulars", at least from when regulars were heard.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

not quite; there is still hope

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

1566 HLAZ music and man in CC 1548UT, had been making weak showing for better part of an hour, but faded up well for sunrise.

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

the above passing through

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

594 JOAK pips 1400 and 1500UT; after 1500, a woman in what sounded like JJ, faded up and down until at least 1510UT
738 likely Tahiti with pop mx 1434UT
774 JOUB pips 1500UT, man and woman talking 1514UT
1278 vocal mx 1540UT, woman talking 1543UT, too much splash for language guess; a bit better on N. Flag.

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

747 1386 1503 1575 1593

best wishes,

Nick
