[IRCA] TP 10 Jan Victoria version
Completely vile conditions until HLAZ started to show just before
1500UT, then, as Bruce noted, sunrise enhancement on the higher band,
though I can't claim as much audio as he heard.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not quite yet
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
1566 HLAZ first became audible 1448UT w/man talking, gradually rising
to this level , peaking 1541-46UT, CC talk by man and woman, vocal
mx. Only signal worth calling listenable this morning.
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
the above passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
1593 CNR1? man talking 1547UT, maybe CC inflection; too much splash
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
1386 1422 1494 1503 1557
best wishes,
Nick
