[IRCA] TP 14 Dec Victoria version
It was the JOUB and Tahiti show this morning.....even carriers of
anything else were impossible to find.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
a bit too much to expect, and yet, if there hadn't been so much
splash, JOUB would have been perfectly readable, just not strong
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
774 JOUB EE lessons 1511 and 1516UT, quite readable, then faded down
to 1520UT when s/off started. By 1523UT, the chimes were quite
respectable strength again.
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
738 Tahiti most likely, 1438-40UT, rock mx fighting with 730
splash. This always had some audio to past 1500UT, though any FF
sounding talk was pretty low level.
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
the above, passing through
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
747, quite strong at 1527UT, likely would have delivered audio, if
there had been any audio to be delivered after the end of the s/off at 1525UT
best wishes,
Nick
