Re: [IRCA] A minor milestone

For what it's worth, I heard KMER again tonight around midnight, so maybe
it's fairly common here. It helps that even at 510 miles and low power,
it's the 4th closest on 940. I wish the ridiculous het on this freq would
go away for more than a few seconds at a time, though!

It wasn't coincidental that I tried, but guess what I logged on 950! "950
K-CAP, the news and information station" into Coast To Coast just after
midnight. Decent recording, too. KRWZ Parker CO usually dominates, but
the 45-degree angle was just enough to be able to hear both stations about
equally for a while before KRWZ reasserted itself. (I actually do
relatively well to the north from here, possibly due to terrain in other
directions.) This is where only having 300 stations logged helps in still
being able to get new ones relatively "easily". I agree that talking about
a station is probably not a great long-term strategy. :)
