[IRCA] TP 13 Nov Victoria version
A very slow recovery today with, oddly, 1593 as the most reliable
signal (not very, but better than the others)
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
Still just a memory
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
another memory
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
738 Tahiti, Man in FF briefly at 1425UT
774 JOUB woman in JJ man in CC 1350UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
612 4QR woman talking for a few minutes before 1500UT, DU EE
inflection, then faint ABC news fanfare at 1500UT,.
972 woman talking, maybe KK? 1351UT
1566 woman in CC? 1351UT
1593 CNR1 had been popping up for an hour or so, barely there audio
at various times, but started monitoring //6125 at 1458UT. The
channel was dead on the hour of course, but heard woman take over
from a man at 1501UT //6125 for ID; almost readable by 1503UT.
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
747 828 909
best wishes,
Nick
