[IRCA] Solar-Challenged Season?

For a Fall DX season that has been very skimpy on exotic DX, it doesn't seem to have had any trouble delivering Asian big gun audio at very potent levels. At 1444 UT yesterday morning 972-HLCA became the fifth Asian station to manage its best audio in 7 years at this location (after 594-JOAK, 603-HLSA, 693-JOAB, 747-JOIB and the 1053-Jammer) during this "lackluster season." These two MP3's wereÂfrom its monster run yesterday morning-- and after DSP processing to remove the 2 kHz heterodynes, were discovered to be the strongest 972-HLCA MP3's ever recorded here. Since 972-HLCA isÂalways the strongest Asian stationÂreceived here each season, they are also the strongest Asian TP signals ever recorded here. They are nothing close to exotic DX-- but in this solar-challenged season, why not be thankful forÂanyÂspecial Asian signals that come your way? :-)
