Re: [IRCA] Oklahoma TP DX 10/27/14
I noticed there was a significant solar flare after my DX session
this morning. Usually strong short wave signals from Radio
Australia faded out around 1440 GMT. K-index was reported to
Be 9.
I'm curious to know how it might have affected medium wave DX
along the Pacific Coast at that time.

This morning there was finally a break in the DX drought.
594 unID (JOAK?) - a trace of a signal heard a various times from
1014 until 1252 (LSR @ 1249)
747 JOIB - Poor at 1003-1005 //JOUB. Not heard afterward.
774 JOUB - fading in and out between 0951 and 1228 with barely
audible to poor signal.
Receivers: Tecsun PL-310 and PL-606 with 8-inch FSL.
Good DX.
