[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 10-14

Asian conditions this morning were similar to yesterday's, except for 603-China temporarily pounding in at an S9 level around 1411 (its strongest signalÂeverÂhere, in 7 years of TP-DXing). The only problem was that 603-HLSA was also at an S9 level at the time-- resulting in a veryÂangry snarl. 
 
The session started out in a routine manner at 1300 with the usual Japanese and Korean big guns on 594, 693, 747, 774, 972, 1053 and 1566 managing good audio in and out, along with fair audio occasionally from 558-HLQH, 603-China, 657-Pyongyang and 738-BEL2. 603-ChinaÂwas alone onÂthe frequency at a weak level until around 1330, when it was drowned out by a good-level pop music fade in by HLSA. 603-China came back to dominate again, however, and these two fought it out at a fair level until around 1411, when the gloves really came off late in sunrise enhancement. 603-China went on a sudden S9 romp, temporarily drowning out HLSA's deep voiced male with Chinese pop music-- at least until HLSA reached an S9+ level with its own Korean pop music, turning the frequency into aÂwild circus.ÂThis was the wildest 603 mix ever observed here. 657-Pyongyang also got a boost late in sunrise enhancement to reach a fair tirade level with its undermodulated transmitter,Âalthough the Chinese co-channel (Henan?) was almost at an equal fair level at times. 738-BEL2's highly hyped-up male Chinese speech was in the clear at a fair level around 1417 after the KCBS fade, and 639-CNR1 managed about the same signal level after the KFI fade.ÂThe high band also showed some signs of life this morning, with 1566-HLAZ at a very good level around 1302, and 1593-CNR1 in and out at a fair level (through Seattle splatter) for much of the session. Overall the propagation wasn't bad, although there wasn't much variety in the second-tier TP's that showed up. The best signal of a pretty bizarre morning was a tie-- the 603-China and HLSA co-channels both managed S9 levelsÂaround 1414-- unfortunately at the same time.
