[IRCA] TP 29 Aug Victoria version
A very odd morning, limited almost entirely to sunrise enhancement of
one station from South Australia, R. Tab-1539.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
nope
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
nope
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
774 JOUB man in JJ 1148UT. Last I heard of it this morning.
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
1053 KK jammer 1249UT
1539 Radio Tab started making an appearance just before 1300UT,
insistent male, DU EE inflection, no ID or change of voice at 1300UT,
and finally noted, at 1311UT, a change from one male voice (who was
commenting on races as they occurred), to another male voice, which
lagged the webstream by about 20 seconds. New here, though heard
tentatively before. Only overseas audio on the band, really strange.
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
1017 1161 1476 1494 1548 1566 1611 1629
best wishes,
Nick
