[IRCA] TP 26 Aug Victoria version
I guess it was an OK morning for August; I've just been spoiled by
better ones in the last couple of weeks. And, it was generally
better than yesterday, though seemed to be just as splashy....
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not today
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
not
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
738 Tahiti? pop mx 1301UT
1116 4BC likely, two men in DU EE 1148UT
1566 HLAZ woman in JJ 1240UT, but mostly the JJ program was pretty
poor, comparable to the peaks in the CC program before 1230UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
567 two men talking 1239UT, maybe DU EE inflection?
702 woman talking 1141UT, DU EE inflection?
774 JOUB woman talking 1256UT EE lessons? NHK pips at 1300UT clinched it.
828 man talking, but couldn't tell language
1053 KK jammer 1245UT
1287 JOHR man in JJ? 1309UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
675 756 819 1008 1098 1269 1296 1323 1575 1638 1701 (hum)
best wishes,
Nick
