[IRCA] TP 19 Aug Victoria version
A "normal" Asiatic morning, though hardly normal by mid August
standards perhaps, and with touches of suspected Australia to make
it more interesting. Although there were some good signal levels,
they tended to come rushing out of the murk, then collapsing back
fairly quickly.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
774 JOUB man in JJ 1149UT . This suffered from presumed 3LO interference later
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
747 JOIB EE lessons 1242UT, //774, but not with the dominant signal
on 774 which had no parallel at the time.
972 HLCA two men in KK, one on the phone, 1241UT
1053 KK jammer 1234UT
1287 JOHR woman in JJ 1248UT
1566 HLAZ woman in JJ, then choir mx 1234UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
828 JOBB EE lessons //747 at 1246UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
594 JOAK? man talking JJ inflection, woman shrieking (no inflection) 1248UT
612 man talking DU EE inflection 1239UT didn't seem //702, but that
was hard copy at the time
702 man talking, DU EE inflection 1233UT
819 vocal mx 1125UT, no idea who, would guess NZ, as it didn't sound N. Korean
873 JOGB EE lessons 1244UT //747
1116 man talking DU EE inflection 1127UT
1134 HLKC two men in KK //972 1242UT; haven't heard these two in
parallel for quite awhile
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
738 855 864 891 1008 1143 1269 1278 1548
best wishes,
Nick
