[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 3-22

Hello All,

Asian signals were fairly average here this morning with the exception of the low band Japanese, who once again went on a vibrant romp, powered by a sunrise enhancement boost around 1345.

At the 1310 start of the session the usual regulars were in and out with fair audio, including 594-JOAK, 693-JOAB, 972-HLCA and 1566-HLAZ. Like yesterday nothing much changed until the first sign of daylight around 1335, which caused almost all of the low band Japanese to start to come out of the noise. By 1345 the strange band had audio from 531-JOQG (fair to good), 567-JOIK (fair in KVI splatter), 585-JOPG (good), 594-JOAK (very good to excellent) and 693-JOAB (very good). The low band daylight boost didn't seem to apply for the Asia mainland stations, though, as only 603-HLSA and 657-Pyongyang made weak appearances this morning, and both of them were anemic at best. After 1345 the high band featured 1377-CNR1 (fair at 1350), 1503-JOUK (good at 1353), 1566-HLAZ (good at 1348) and 1595-CNR1 (fair at 1402). As is typical lately, all of the Asians seemed to fall off of a cliff around 1410, with 594-JOAK the last survivor. Strongest signal of the morning was from 594-JOAK at 1!
350, with a bizarre radio drama audible on five different NHK1 stations at the time (531, 567, 585, 594 and 1503). In this location that usually favors the Asian mainland over Japan, such a collection of low band Japanese is very unusual, even in the Fall Season.
