Hello All,
Asian propagation took another step backward this morning as vibrant signals were rare, and limited to the big gun TP's. Increasing daylight did little to boost up the anemic signals, which bailed early around 1415.
As the session started at 1305 it was pretty obvious that the propagation was down a little from the past couple of days, with only 693-JOAB, 972-HLCA and 1566-HLAZ managing fair audio in and out. Around 1320 these were joined by 1503-JOUK with intermittent fair audio-- one of the very few second tier TP's to show up during the session. 972-HLCA hit a very brief good peak around 1330, managing the best Asian signal during the lackluster morning. The low band was especially dreary during the hours of darkness, with the usual regulars on 594, 603 and 738 failing to manage anything more than threshold audio until around 1345. At the first sign of daylight these three came up to an anemic level, along with 639-CNR1 with fair audio in and out-- the only second tier TP to show up on the low band during the session. By 1400 there were quite a few weak Asians spread out over the high band, including 1377-CNR1 (poor), 1566-HLAZ (fair), 1575-VOA (poor) and 1593-CNR1 (fair). This entir!
e collection of anemic Asians didn't seem very impressed with the session's "sunrise enhancement," though, and slid into the noise one by one around 1410. Overall it was a pretty lackluster morning for Asian signals, but probably what we should expect by pushing our luck during a lean solar year in the middle of March.
