[IRCA] TP 16 Mar, Victoria version

Perhaps not quite such a stellar morning here as others experienced, but, not bad at all, right from 1200UT. But, plenty of splash which meant lots of good carriers whose audio just couldn't slip through.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

594 JOAK man in JJ 1203UT; pretty good after 1400UT, but not quite this level.
774 JOUB. Wx report 1303UT (still somewhat audible 1522UT, man talking, JJ inflection)
828 JOBB. EE lessons 1220UT
972 HLCA. Man in KK 1406UT
1557 Taiwan. Woman in CC 1408UT
1566 HLAZ. Man in CC, briefly at this level 1402UT. Also pretty stentorian at beginning of JJ program 1230UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

747 JOIB EE lessons 1220UT //828
1575 VoA. Man in SE Asian language 1403, 1408UT. Best on N. Flag.

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

567 JOIK. Woman and man in JJ 1213UT, but no 594 at this time. Didn't ID this for sure until 1301UT //594, when it was weaker.
891 JOHK. Man in JJ //594 1355UT
963 CRI woman in RR 1340UT //1323
1053 KK jammer 1200UT.

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

837 JOQK. Man in JJ //594 1201UT
639 CNR1. Man talking 1335UT, //981 and lagging slightly
819 N. Korea? Man holding forth in that inimitable northern style.1304UT, very poor in 820 splash 945 CNR1? Man talking, too rough and splattery to say for sure if //6175 1412UT; still some traces of audio at 1523UT
954 JOKR? woman talking, high speed, JJ inflection 1204UT
981 CNR1. Pips and woman talking crept through 1200UT. 1302UT, CNR1 news sounder, finally ID'd //1593 1333UT
1206 Yanbian? woman talking , maybe KK 1301UT
1287 JOHR? Man talking JJ inflection 1401UT
1314 DWXI? Man preaching 1405UT
1386 NHK2 KK lessons //774 1406UT
1422 JORF? man talking, sounding JJ 1400UT, too much splash.
1503 JOUK. Man talking //594 1411UT.
1593 CNR1 man and woman talking //6175 1405UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

558 603 621 702 756 864 873 918 936 1017 1035 1089 1098 1134 1179 1215 1251 1332 1359 1431 1467 1602

best wishes,

Nick
