Today's DX was highlighted by presumed Filipino stations on 1161 1215
and 1512, plus a stellar signal from JORF-1422. Otherwise, there wasn't
much to get excited about, with average or below average signals from
many of the regulars.
GOOD - a native speaker would have understood most of it
972 HLCA, lively group discussion 1350
1422 JORF, ads 1359, Japanese talk 1400, more ads, pop song 1406
fair-good, sometimes equal to or better than 1420 domestics
1566 HLAZ, woman closing the Japanese show for today 1344 briefly
good, fair-nil otherwise
FAIR - a native speaker would have recognized words or phrases
747 JOIB, Korean lesson 1411
774 JOUB, Chinese lesson 1338
1161 Rapid male talk 1359-1403+ fair-poor, language sounded like
Tagalog, several Filipinos listed
1215 DYRF?. light vocal song, woman & man in Tagalog, then male talk
1400, fairly good signal but bad electrical noise
1287 JOHR, woman in Japanese 1359
1575 VOA presumed with man in SEA language 1404, poor-nil otherwise
POOR - unintelligible
594 JOAK, Japanese talk 1352, time pips 1400
648 VOR?, faint woman talking 1341,sounded Chinese
693 JOAB, Japanese talk poor in CBU splat 1353
738 weak Chinese woman 1338
756 very faint talk 1413
828 JOBB, 1339 Chinese lesson //774
