[IRCA] TP 26 Feb, Victoria version

A less usual morning today. Virtually no activity until after 1400UT (except lots of static crashes), with first audio from 1557 after 1410UT, and the only worthwhile activity was 1430 to 1450UT, then things pretty much fell off the cliff about 5 minutes later.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

1566 HLAZ woman in CC best on north Flag (yet again) 1447UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

1575 likely VoA, woman SE Asian language, also on north Flag 1435UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

594 JOAK woman in JJ 1444UT, best on north Flag for a change
1314 DWXI? man in Tagalog 1448UT, maybe sunrise peak, mixing w/man on phone? JOUF? 1557 Taiwan likely w/laid back female pop vocals 1452UT, but had been heard many times in previous half hour at weaker levels
1593 CNR1 man in CC 1446UT, then woman

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

774 JOUB? woman talking, JJ inflection 1445, 1453UT
891 unID pop mx, man talking, maybe DU EE inflection, better on west Flag, 1439UT
972 HLCA? woman talking 1441UT, too far in murk for language ID
1422 unID woman talking 1451UT, too much splash
1512 unID instrurmental mx, man talking, maybe DU EE? 1438UT, too much splatter, but best on west Flag

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

558 612 702 1143 1179 1332 1359 1377 1458 1494 1503

best wishes,

Nick
