Not a stellar morning, but an Asian or two was back. Sunrise
enhancement is getting very noticeably earlier; by 1510UT things were
seriously finished.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not today
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
774 JOBB man in JJ, woman in EE 1252UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
612 4QR man DU EE, 1407UT, also 1455UT. No pips or ABC fanfare at
1500UT, but woman did mention "ABC news"
1566 HLAZ woman in CC 1449UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
738 Tahiti? island vocals 1308UT, followed by man talking, FF inflection
1575 VoA? woman and man in SE Asian talk? 1449, best on west Flag for a change
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
747 828 972 1143 1179 1224 1404 1476 1503 1557 (some hints of Asia there...)
best wishes,
Nick
