An interesting morning, though mostly the old standby stations with
one or two odd ones. Lively after 1300UT, but a dead patch after
1400UT for better part of the hour.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
774 JOUB EE lessons 1340UT, disquisition upon curling, apparently
played in Japan also.
1566 HLAZ man in CC 1513-14UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
594 JOAK man in JJ 1518UT, equal strength north and west Flags,
usually west Flag is better. Also noted this level 1301UT, woman in JJ
828 JOBB man in JJ 1334, guitar interlude and into EE lessons
972 HLCA? woman singing 1515UT
1314 DWXI assumed; man preaching in Tagalog 1507UT, gradually
building to this level over 20 minutes or so, but soon faded.
1575 VoA?? man in SE Asian language, quite echoey 1457UT. Woman and
man continued across hour, but no ID. Pretty consistent strength for
about 15 minutes when it started to fade down gently.
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
747 JOIB EE lessons1336UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
702 NHK2 man w/wx report //774 1303UT
738 Tahiti? man talking FF inflection 1443UT
1278 unID man and woman talking, too much splash, could have been JJ? 1449UT
1287 JOHR? woman talking 1522-3UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
693 891 1017 1098 1161 1242 1422 1503
best wishes,
Nick
