Listened from 1443-1542  utc. Low channels were back in the doldrums here. Upper channels benefited by sunrise enhancement. China 1593 signal peak to good despite KOHI
splatter. Star of the morning goes to HLAZ 1566 peaking with a S9+40 db signal at 1529 with man in Chinese and bits of English sprinkle in at 1530 utc.  Nice to be able to listen to HLAZ signal on the 6 hz selectivity setting.

693    JAPAN, Tokyo, JOBB NHK2 1445  fair signal with woman in Japanese. Moderate splatter. NW ewe.  01/30/2014

1116   CHINA, Shaowu, CNR5 1451 assuming the station with weak signal. Man in Chinese . NW ewe.  01/30/2014

1287   JAPAN, Sapporo, HBC JOHR 1522  fair signal with man in Japanese. Moderate splatter. NW ewe. 01/30/2014

1422   JAPAN, Yokohama, JORF RF, RF Radio Nippon 1524 weak signal with music. NW ewe. 01/30/2014

1503   JAPAN, Akita, JOUK NHK1 1526  weak signal with man in Japanese. NW ewe. 01/30//2014

1566   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Cheju, HLAZ FEBC 1449 good signal with man in Chinese. Peaking at S9+40 db 1529. NW ewe. 01/30/2014
1557   TAIWAN, Kouhu, Music Interactive Network. 1506 very weak signal with Chinese talk. Music 1527 fair signal. NW ewe. 01/30/2014

1575   THAILAND, Rasom, VOA 1531 good signal with woman in Asian language. NW ewe. 01/30/2014

1593   CHINA, Changzhou CNR1 1451 fair signal with woman in Chinese.  Buried in KOHI splatter. Good at 1533. NW ewe 01/30/2014
