[IRCA] 1390 kHz - odd noise

Tuning to 1390 kHz I hear an odd sound (like an Aboriginal didgeridoo) 
in LSB (and also 1371 LSB).  I wondered initially if it was local to me 
here in Scotland but listening to a few Perseus radio servers in the 
north east of the USA I hear it on some of those receivers too.  I 
didn't check further west or south.

Do others hear it and has it been identified, located?

Here's a recording I made at 0000 utc overnight. It's of 1390 kHz LSB 
although I switch to USB for the last few seconds just to illustrate the 
difference.
