[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 1-24

Both the low and high band had some very potent Asian signals this morning, making it seem like something straight out of October. The low band suddenly went on a romp during sunrise enhancement from 1530-1545, when 603 kHz became an S9 battleground between HLSA and China-- the most vibrant mix of those two ever recorded here.. 594-JOAK, 639-CNR1, 648-VOR and 657-Pyongyang were also all fair to good during the same period, while the star performer on the high band during sunrise enhancement here was 1593-CNR1.
 
My listening session started off at 1430, when only 603-HLSA and 972-HLCA were the only Asians showing any real energy (both with good signals, in and out). During the darkness period before 1500 both the low and high bands were relatively subdued, with only 1593-CNR1 having fair audio on the upper frequencies. Around 1520 the increasing sunlight seemed to boost up low band propagation in a major way, with 603-HLSA leading the way with very good long-set music // 558, which was in and out of 560-KPQ splatter with fair signals. 594-JOAK also got a major boost (up to good level), while 639-CNR1 and 657-Pyongyang raised up to fair levels. Suddenly 603-China joined HLSA with potent signals around 1530, and the two collectively went on an S9 romp around 1535, with HLSA usually dominant. Fortunately the C.Crane SWP Slider model (with its relatively good narrow filter audio) was being used for the MP3 recording of this 603 mix, which was far more impressive than any other TP mix re!
 corded here this season. 9 minutes of live DXing time was spent here listening on the 603 mix from 1530-1539, so there wasn't too much time to go after other unusual TP signals (like the ones that Nick reported). A brief check of the low band around 1545 had 594-JOAK with good signals, 603-HLSA/ China still with a very good mix, 639-CNR1 fair to good, 648-VOR fair, and 657-Pyongyang fair to good. Shifting to the high band at 1546 I noticed 1593-CNR1 at a good level in and out (with no Japanese co-channel), and 1575-VOA at a fair-to good level. By this time the sunrise enhancement propagation was losing steam at this landlocked location, and the low band collectively bailed out around 1550. 1593-CNR1 stuck around with fair signals in and out until just before 1600, though, once again becoming the last Asian survivor. Quite a morning-- it will be interesting to read Nick's, Dennis' and Bruce's report (and maybe Nigel's?).
