[IRCA] TP DX in Seattle on January 20

It was an interesting morning here. There was a pronounced sunrise enhancement here at about 1530-1540 UTC, but it was limited to signals above 1400. Some were mysteries on channels that aren't easily heard here: 1476, 1467, and 1548 had audio, though just barely in the cases of the latter two. Something was also trying to be heard on 1458, but it was drowned out by one of my strongest locals, KGAA-1460.

I had two partial sets of pips on 1170 during the usual gap in KPUG's audio; presumably KBS and CNR, the only combination that makes sense here. VOA-1575 was in well for a few minutes, not at the strength Dennis reported but still rather good.

There was almost nothing in the way of TPs below about 900, which pretty much continues the trend of recent days.

Good - mostly understandable to a native speaker
1566 HLAZ, man in Japanese 1320, woman in Chinese 1419
1575 VOA, man:"Welcome to the Voice of America in Burmese", then theme mx and start of Burmese pgm 1530

Fair - a native speaker would recognize words and phrases
890 KBBI, BBC news u/CJDC 1301
972 HLCA, woman and man in Korean 1433
1134 KBS, 1257 Korean talk //972, 1300 pips
1557 Taiwan, 1530 pop vocal, then woman in Chinese
1593 CNR1, 1328 Chinese talk trying to poke through local 1590 splatter, 1330 tones marking BoH

Poor - bits of stuff in the noise and splatter
1170 Two sets of pips 1400 while KPUG stopped to catch its breath. Sounded like a mix of CNR & KBS.
1422 bits of talk 1536
1467 reasonably good carrier, sometimes bits of talk during lulls in KGAA-1460 splash 1534
1476 easy listening music briefly rising above domestic splatter 1538
1548 bits of talk 1531 and 1538, mostly buried in domestic splatter

Carriers of note: 963 1044 1098 1323 1413 1431 1449 1458 1494 1503
