Good morning,
Listened from 1448-1555 utc. Upper channels far superior than the lower channels. First surprise on the morning was hearing JOGB 873 and not hearing JOUB or JOBB with audio. Second surprise was CRN1 China on 1593 with a excellent signal peaking the S meter with a S-9 +50 db signal. Peaked the signal by tuning the Palstar MW 550P to 1593 kHz. Even heard  barefoot on the eton E100. Gary has reported CRN1 China with excellent signal strength, but I have never hear them this strong inland.  A fun  January morning.

873     JAPAN, JOGB NHK2 Kumamoto, 1503 very weak signal with man in Japanese. Slight splatter. NW ewe. 01/18/2014 
972     REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Dangjin, HLCA KBS 1508 very weak signal with woman in Korean. Heavy splatter. NW ewe. 01/18/2014

1044   CHINA, Changzhou, CRI 1448 weak signal with woman in Japanese. Fair at 1509. NW ewe. 01/18/2014

1116   CHINA, Shaowu, CNR5 1451 weak signal with man in Chinese. Good  at 1510. NW ewe.  01/18/2014

1179   JAPAN, Osaka, JOOR MBS assuming the station with very weak briefly at 1514. Woman in Japanese? NW ewe.
1278   JAPAN, Fukuoka, JOFR 1456 weak signal with man in Japanese. NW ewe. 01/18/2014
1314   JAPAN, Osaka, JOUF Radio Osaka Obc 1520 assuming the station with very weak signal with man in Japanese? NW ewe.01/18/2018

1377   CHINA, CRN1 1529  //1593 weak signal and music. Moderate splatter. NW ewe. 01/18/2014
1422   JAPAN, Yokohama, JORF RF, RF Radio Nippon 1545 weak signal with man in Japanese. NW ewe. 01/18/2014

1503   JAPAN, Akita, JOUK NHK1 1543 weak signal with woman in Japanese. NW ewe. 01/18//2014

1557  TAIWAN, Kouhu, Music Interactive Network. 1534 very weak signal with music. NW ewe 01/18/2014

1566   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Cheju, HLAZ FEBC 1459 excellent signal with man in Chinese. NW ewe. 01/18/2014
1575   THAILAND, Rasom, VOA 1500  weak signal with Asian language. Good at 1535. NW ewe. 01/18/2014

1593   CHINA, Changzhou CNR1 1501 weak signal with man in Chinese. NW ewe. Excellent signal 1527. KOHI splatter. 01/18/2014
