A bit of a sunrise lift here today, one unusual station, a possible
CBS (Korea) on 1314.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
774 JOUB reading out letter from EE student, mention of time trials
1449UT; s/off today was 1510-5UT, when it was poorer strength
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
972 HLCA woman in KK 1538UT, still in w/man mumbling at 1651UT
1566 HLAZ man in CC 1532UT; noted during JJ program at this strength,
1300UT, and at 1343UT s/off, "Oyasumi nasai" etc.
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
738 Tahiti man and woman in FF 1346UT
828 JOBB EE lessons //774 1440UT including rousing round of Jingle Bells
1575 VoA woman in SE Asian language 1549UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
594 JOAK? man talking JJ inflection 1409 and 1550UT
1314 CBS Korea? man preaching through choral mx 1538UT; couldn't
find a web stream on their site, and mostly gone by the hour,
especially once CHMB kicked in with high octane CC mx
1593 CNR1 man talking in splash, 1541UT, seemed to match 6175
1593 NHK2 pips heard at 1300UT, no China at this time
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
567 1044 1269 1431 1494
best wishes,
Nick
