[IRCA] TP 4 Jan, Victoria version

A few interesting things this morning, but almost all due to extreme minimalist DXing on the recording. Overall, not as good as yesterday morning, especially in the 1300 to 1430UT slot..

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

1566 HLAZ man in CC 1549UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

972 HLCA man and woman in KK at 1538UT, still pretty fair at 1603UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

828 JOBB man in JJ //774 1536UT
1287 JOHR man in rapid fire JJ 1536UT
1575 VoA man in SE Asian language 1543UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

567 JOIK? man talking, seemed likely JJ 1259UT, pips on the hour
891 NHK style pips finishing a couple of seconds before 1600UT, which is not very NHK, but man mumbling gave no clues.
1017 JOLB man talking slowly seemed //774 at 1531UT, both quite weak
1116 man talking, DU EE inflection 1355UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

594 603 747 756 873 981 1098 1476 1503

best wishes,

Nick
