[IRCA] TP 31 Dec, Victoria version

sunrise enhancement? HLAZ...nothing more, nothing less. Whoops, checked the recording, traces of JOHR also.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

1566 HLAZ woman in CC 1555UT, pretty much all that was on band; still hanging in fairly well at 1600UT; as per usual, best on North Flag

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

HLAZ, passing through

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

774 JOUB man in JJ 1343UT
972 HLCA woman in KK 1350UT
828 JOBB man in JJ, woman in EE 1421UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

738 Tahiti? man talking, FF inflection 1354UT
1053 KK jammer 1301UT
1170 KBS just two and one pips sneaking through KPUG's silent period at 1400UT, thanks Bruce. 1287 JOHR? single pip at 1600UT, walking jazz bass, then a man talking, could have been JJ, but pretty weak. This wasn't even a reasonable carrier earlier

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

747 1179 1278 1314 1332 1413

best wishes,

Nick
