[IRCA] TP 20 Dec, Victoria version

I'm glad to see that Dennis and Gary did so well this morning, but can't say that it was anything like that good here. Rather, it sounded more like an opening that was trying to happen here, with signals in the 1400-1500UT period when normally it's been dead. Having said that, not so much action during the sunrise period.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

uh uh

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

1566 HLAZ choral mx 1429UT after man in CC; not much zip around sunrise this morning

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

774 JOUB EE lessons 1418UT
828 JOBB musical interlude then woman talking //774 1520UT
1575 likely VoA, man in SE Asian language 1547UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

594 JOAK man talking,JJ inflection, //JOIK-567 (which had faded in first) 1439UT
738 Tahiti? woman talking FF inflection 1259UT
747 man talking 1516UT likely JOIB
972 likely HLCA man talking, maybe KK, woman nodding agreement, 1535UT
1098 woman talking , not //7350, therefore perhaps not CNR11? 1530UT
1557 woman talking maybe CC 1550UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

648 891 1134 1179 1269 1287 1314 1323 1503 1593

best wishes,

Nick
