My 1503 audio this morning was far from energetic, Nick, but there was some apparent mumbled Japanese, with the usual NHK1-type interval music thrown in. I'm pretty sure that it was JOUK, but of course as soon as I hit the "record" button, the signal took the customary crash dive.

Now that I know that there might be another possibility on 1503, though, that frequency will get far more attention here. Because of a semi-local on 1560 (KKDZ), 1557-Taiwan has never made it through the splatter-- so RTI on 1503 would be very welcome.

73, Gary

If you have a recording of 1503 Gary, listen again. I think that I
was hearing R Taiwan International in Thai there today (was logged
here last season about this time) but maybe not....7445 didn't seem
to be parallel, but neither did 594 on a quick listen. I'll have to
go over the recording tonight. Off to work now...

best wishes,

Nick
