Definitely poorer today earlier on, but 1566 and 1575 did alright on
the north Flag this morning as sunrise approached. Really not much
in the way of low band Asiatics at any time.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1566 HLAZ laid back female vocal mx 1518 through 1523UT when man and
woman started talking in CC; decidedly better strength on the North
vs. West Flag, and increasing to this level at 1525UT
1575 VoA likely, briefly excellent 1515UT laid back vocal pop mx;
earlier, man was in SE Asian language, but weaker.
(both these continued to past 1540UT, fading to lower and lower levels)
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
HLAZ and VoA passing through
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
738 Tahiti likely. Island style choral mx 1345UT, also 1413UT, more
local programming than usual? Splatter was evil today
1593 CNR1 man in CC //6030 1504UT, occasional news sounder
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
1242 JOLF 1500UT cuckoo time pips, then man talking, too much splash
to dig out language.
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
594 603 747 972 1278 1359 1422 1557
best wishes,
Nick
