I think Richard will need to let us know when he goes away from the
weekend. He obviously took the DX with him.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
robust guffaws
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
much laughter
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
fits of the giggles
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
738 Tahiti likely man in FF sounding talk 1324
774 believe it or not, JOUB: pips at 1500UT crept through
828 maybe JOBB. I'm pretty sure I heard the cadence of "JOBB" by a
woman at 1320UT, near imaginary however. There was some other weak
talk around this time by man and woman
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):648
594 612 819 891 972 1503
best wishes,
Nick
